I don't do those meme tests things that seem so popular here on LJ, but I did do this online test. I scored 43.3925% Major Geek.

I suppose it's true. I play(ed) roleplaying games a lot. Sitting around with my buddies pretending to be somebody else, doing exciting stuff. Jeez, it sounds bad when I say it like that. I've heard some people describe roleplaying as improvisational theater. Yah, I suppose it is when some people do it, but not when the guys I hang out with do. We just like to get together on the weekend, eat junk food (less now than we used to though), rip on each other, hang out and pretend to be other people and kill stuff. Basically. I've always been sort of ashamed of this hobby of mine, sort of like if I worked at Burger King I'd be ashamed of that. It's got a stigma attached to it of being something losers do. I suppose I can see where that comes from, having went to a few game conventions. But really, you get people who become too involved with anything, whether it's guns, stamp collecting or playing Scrabble and you will get some odd behaviour. For some reason though, gamers seem to get whacka-moled over it more than most others (at least we aren't furries) :P

I enjoy it though. It's better than a crack habit.
