California Love

Lots of people hate on California and if you don't live here, I don't care if you hate the place. Chances are you live in a state that teaches the bible as science in your schools, so why should I give a fuck what you think?

But, there seem to be quite a few people that live in California that love to talk shit about this state. They just hate this place, not because of the wonderful weather or the spectacular landscapes. No, they hate on California because it's considered a 'liberal' state and they can't stand living in a liberal state (even if that is bullshit. Google "Wally Herger", our local congressman)

So these people constantly rag on Cali and wax on dreamily about the promised lands, like Idaho or Texas or maybe even Kansas (which is just another example of how fucking stupid these people are. Who in their right mind would choose to live in Kansas rather than California? I mean, have you been to Kansas? I have.)

Really, it's mainly the urban areas of California that are liberal, but I think that is true in most places. But somehow, San Francisco and Los Angeles have tainted the entire state for these die hard conservatives. I imagine they apologize to their non-California friends when they talk to them.

I had an aunt, uncle and cousins that were like this. They escaped the evil perversion of the Bay Area State and moved to Idaho, within shooting distance of the infamous Ruby Ridge. Finally, their grandkids are safe from 'them'. Honestly, that's how they think.

Personally, I hope all those haters get their way and manage to move out of here. Once all those uptight assholes are gone, we can finally achieve Dr. Dre and Tupac's vison of what California is.
