I listen to a lot of music at my boring job. I get random stuff that I don't know anything about, make an mp3 disk and take it to work.

The other day one of the things I put on a disk was an album called Blood, Sweat and Beers by a band called Redneck Girlfriend. It's about what you would expect from the title and band name. The music isn't awesome but these guys know their niche and they fill it pretty well. I bet they would be pretty fun to see in a bar.

So, I'm listening to the songs, skipping some of them after a partial listen. Then a song called GHF starts. It's a good thing I listen to my music on headphones at work. The first time the chorus is sung I find out that GHF stands for Good Hard Fucking. It goes downhill from there.

Actually, it's amusing in it's utter depravity. You listen to it and can't help but shake your head. At least I can't.

Here is a link to the song. The YouSendIt site says it can be downloaded for up to 7 days or a limited number of times, but doesn't say how many times that is.

Be careful if you download it. Make sure there are no children about. Or you parents. Or your neighbors.

I'm listening to Has Been by William Shatner at the moment. It is suprisingly good. You should check it out if you get the chance.

01) Total volume of music files on my computer?
I dunno. I need a bigger drive, mines only about 30 gigs so I'm constantly burning stuff onto dvds so I can delete it from my drive. Probably 30-40 gigs saved on dvds.

02) The last CD I bought was...
Umm. I think the Supersuckers Evil Powers of Rock 'n' Roll was the last cd I bought.

03) The last song I listened to before writing this was...
William Shatner singing Common People.

04) Song playing right now:
Heh. I'm listening to the song I posted about in my last entry. It cracks me up. GHF

05) Five songs I listen to a lot or that mean a lot to me.
Talking Heads - Psycho Killer Cause it's our song :)
Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road Listening to Springsteen's music has helped me through some rough times. This one might be my favorite Bruce song.
Metallica - Seek and Destroy Maybe you had to be a pimply faced boy in 1983 when this album came out to appreciate it fully. I dunno.
The Pogues - The Body of an American - I just love this song and sing along with it in my car when I'm driving to work.
Uncle Tupelo - Chickamauga Only because I have to pick on song. Really, it's the whole album Anodyne. If I could only listen to one album ever again, I think it would be this one.
