synchronicity
May. 21st, 2007 09:16 pmI was looking through this set of pictures from Libya in a photo mag the other day and saw a picture of two men holding hands. The caption said that men holding hands was common in the Middle East and had no romantic connotations.
I never knew that.
Just now I was reading a mystery novel and that exact same factoid was mentioned again. That it is common for men to hold hands in that part of the world and it doesn't mean anything romantic.
It's odd that I lived for 42 years without knowing this and now I hear about it twice within 48 hours.
